PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) adalah perusahaan induk pertambangan logam dan mineral asal Indonesia yang berkantor pusat di Jakarta. Didirikan pada tahun 2012 dengan nama awal PT Merdeka Serasi Jaya, perusahaan ini berganti nama menjadi PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk pada tahun 2014 dan resmi tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2015. Merdeka fokus pada eksplorasi, ekstraksi, dan produksi emas, perak, tembaga, serta mineral lainnya melalui anak perusahaan yang tersebar di tiga pulau di Indonesia.
Proyek utama Merdeka meliputi Tambang Emas Tujuh Bukit di Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur; Tambang Tembaga Wetar di Pulau Wetar, Maluku Barat Daya; dan Proyek Emas Pani di Pohuwato, Gorontalo. Selain itu, perusahaan juga mengembangkan Proyek Tembaga Tujuh Bukit, sebuah tambang bawah tanah yang terletak di bawah tambang emas yang sudah beroperasi, dengan estimasi umur tambang lebih dari 30 tahun.
Merdeka juga memiliki anak usaha di bidang jasa konstruksi pertambangan dan pengolahan mineral, termasuk PT Merdeka Battery Materials yang fokus pada pengembangan material baterai. Merdeka Young Talent Program (MYTP) 2026
The Merdeka Young Talent Program (MYTP) is a two-year full-time program designed to provide recent graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop their skills in the mining industry. This program aims to attract and nurture young talents who are passionate about the mining industry and are eager to learn and grow with us.
Job Description:
As a participant of the MYTP, you will be exposed to various aspects of our business, including exploration, project development, and operations. You will work closely with our experienced team members and be given hands-on training and mentoring to develop your technical and soft skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in on-the-job training and learning activities, including fieldwork, workshops, and classroom training.
- Support and assist in various projects and tasks related to exploration, project development, and operations.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Min. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology Engineering, Geodesy Engineering, Marine, Marine Biology, Public Health, Health & Safety, Accounting or related fields.
- Min. GPA 3.30 out of 4.00.
- Max. 3 years of working experiences.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Strong interest in the mining industry and willingness to learn.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Willing to be placed in remote areas and work in a challenging environment.
