PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk

Asahi Glass Co. Ltd (AGC Inc.) adalah produsen kaca terkemuka di dunia yang didirikan oleh Mr. Toshiya Iwasaki. Asahi memproduksi berbagai jenis kaca untuk arsitektur (bangunan) dan otomotif (mobil). Di Indonesia, Asahi Glass bekerja sama dengan PT Rodamas, mendirikan pabrik yang berlokasi di Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur.

PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk memulai produksi kacanya pada April 1973, bermula dari kaca bening yang diproduksi menggunakan proses tradisional Fourcault. Selanjutnya, lini produknya dengan cepat berkembang dengan memasukkan produk-produk baru yang inovatif seperti Specialty Glass, Safety Glass, Kaca Reflektif dan Cermin. Pada tahun 1975, perusahaan pertama kali membangun fasilitas pabrik untuk produk Safety Glass dan langsung memulai produksi komersial menggunakan Proses Tempering pada tahun 1976.  Pada tahun yang sama, Asahimas juga membangun fasilitas produksi kedua untuk produksi Flat Glass di Jakarta dan memulai produksi komersialnya pada tahun 1977. Pada tahun 1981, Asahimas memperkenalkan inovasi teknik produksi Float di Jakarta, yang merupakan pabrik dengan teknologi Float pertama dari Asahimas. Setelahnya, Asahimas berhenti menggunakan Proses Fourcault pada tahun 1983. Di tahun 1997, PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk memulai tahap pertama pembangunan pabrik Safety Glass di Cikampek, Jawa Barat, yang kemudian memulai produksi komersialnya pada tahun 1999.

Saat ini, Asahimas meningkatkan kapasitas produksi agregat terpasang sebesar 720.000 ton untuk Kaca Lembaran, 5.800.000 meter persegi untuk Safety Glass, dan 6.800.000 meter persegi untuk cermin. Jumlah kapasitas tahunan yang besar ini menjadikan Asahimas tidak hanya sebagai produsen kaca terbesar di Indonesia tetapi juga di Asia Tenggara.

Lowongan Kerja PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk

1. Management Trainee – Monozukuri and Kaizen

What you’ll be doing:

1. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees on MT, Monozukuri, and Kaizen methodologies
2. Facilitate the implementation of Monozukuri and Kaizen principles across the organisation to drive operational excellence
3. Coach and mentor employees at all levels to develop their skills in problem-solving, process improvement, and waste elimination
4. Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for further process improvements
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training and continuous improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives
6. Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources to support the ongoing learning and development of employees

What We’re looking for:

• Bachelor of Psychology with min. GPA 3,00
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably have experience in manufacturing or industrial sector
• Extensive knowledge of People development, Training Need Analysis, Create Curriculum, and related stuff in Training and Kaizen
• Strong facilitation and training skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as People / HR Development
• Willing to work in Sidoarjo, East Java

2. MT Sales & Marketing (Automotive)

What you’ll be doing:

1. Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to promote our building glass products and services
2. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key customers and partners
3. Providing excellent customer service, expert technical advice and consultative selling to help customers find the best solutions for their needs
4. Representing in industry events, trade shows and networking activities to raise brand awareness and generate leads
5. Analyzing market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform product development and improve our offering
6. Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery
7. Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs

What We’re looking for:

• Bachelor degree from Engineering/Management/ Economics/ etc, with min. GPA 3.00
• Proven track record minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the automotive industry
• Strong understanding of automotive market, products and applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with customers
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address customer needs
• Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
• Able to speak and write in English (Mandarin speaking skill is a plus)

3. Management Trainee – Production

What you’ll be doing:

1. Monitoring and optimizing the production process to maximize efficiency and output
2. Identify and resolve production-related issues to maintain high quality standards
3. Collaborate with in and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
4. Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed records of production data
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
6. Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
7. Contribute to the development of new products and production methods

What We’re looking for:

• Male with maximum 29 years
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Manufacture Engineering, or any related field with min GPA 3,00.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production engineering or process improvement role
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, have strong leadership and prove with leadership experience

4. MT Mechanical Maintenance

What you’ll be doing:

1. Performing scheduled and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and other industrial machinery
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance
3. Conducting inspections, testing, and analysis to identify potential problems and develop proactive maintenance strategies
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise disruptions to production
5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
6. Continuously seeking opportunities to improve maintenance processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations
7. Running Mechanical control system
8. Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment
9. Make a plan in the use of machine/ robotic
10. Fix issues from production machines/ other electronic equipment for management/ operational purposes
11. Implement basic knowledge of K3 & 5S
12. Able to analyze & troubleshot machine damage and make machine condition reports
13. Responsible on duty based on working instructions related to mechanical maintenance and repair

What We’re looking for:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Male with maximum age 30 years old
• Able to work as a team
• At least 2 years experience on same/ related field/ Maintenance on Manufacture
• Able to speak and write in English

What you’ll be doing:

6. Production Team Leader

What you’ll be doing:

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of production teams to meet established targets and objectives
2. Monitoring production processes, identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal efficiency and quality
3. Providing leadership, coaching and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
4. Implementing and enforcing health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
5. Analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless operations
7. Reporting on production performance and providing recommendations to management
8. Strengthen shop floor management system through good man power arrangement,
9. Ensuring production process

11. Skill up operator
12. Handling safety, quality problem in line, and abnormality management based on genchi-genbutsu.

7. Packing Material Team Leader

What you’ll be doing:

1. Input and control incoming and outgoing material
2. Manage daily stock administration
3. Making monthly report for every material (pallet and box) movement (closing, debit note, etc)
4. Day-to-day manpower arrangement and attendance
5. Making and Monitoring Purchase Request (PR) & Purchase Order (PO) related bill of material of packing
6. Archiving all documentation and record
7. Willing to work in the field
8. Willing to be placed in Cikampek Plant

What We’re looking for:

• Must be D3 majoring in Civil/ Wood/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum GPA 3,00
• Have experience 1-3 years in material administration inventory warehouse, open for fresh graduate as well
• Proficient in Ms. Office is a must, ASAP & RFID would be major advantage
• Experience in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, or equivalent especially in manufacture industry
• Have well knowledge in the supply chain process e.g., FIFO, Warehousing management, Inventory control
• Excellent communication skill
• Able to speak English is a MUST

8. Engineering Mandarin Speaker

What you’ll be doing:

1. Act as a key contact and coordinator with Mandarin-speaking customers, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical requirements and schedules
2. Ensure that all customer requirements and requests for new product designs are well-managed and implemented internally
3. Read, understand, and interpret customer design requirements and ensure alignment with internal factory specifications and standards
4. Responsible for monitoring and supporting the production trial process for new models/designs, including preparation of materials, tooling, and production parameters
5. Conduct review and analysis of trial results, and provide feedback to both internal teams and customers
6. Collaborate with production, quality to ensure customer specifications are effectively applied in the manufacturing process
7. Perform documentation and reporting in both Mandarin and English as required

What We’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial/ electrical engineering, with minimum GPA 3,00
• Male with maximum 30 years old
• Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a MUST
• 1-2 years of working experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other related applications
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a team and has good problem-solving skills
