PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) adalah anak perusahaan Toyota Motor Corporation dari Jepang, dengan saham 95% Toyota dan 5% Astra International. TMMIN fokus pada produksi mobil, mesin, dan komponen kendaraan Toyota di Indonesia — termasuk produksi kendaraan lengkap (Complete Built-Up, CBU), mesin, dan komponen spare parts.

Awal jejak Toyota di Indonesia dimulai lewat pendirian PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) pada April 1971 sebagai importir dan distributor. Produksi mobil Toyota di Indonesia mulai dengan model legendaris Toyota Kijang pada tahun 1977. Pada 2003 TAM distructur menjadi dua entitas: TMMIN (manufacturing & eksport) dan TAM (sales & distribusi).

Saat ini TMMIN mengoperasikan beberapa pabrik/manufaktur di lokasi strategis: di kawasan Sunter (Jakarta Utara) dan Karawang (Jawa Barat). Lewat pabrik-pabrik ini, Toyota memproduksi berbagai kendaraan, mesin, dan komponen — melayani pasar domestik dan ekspor ke puluhan negara.

Kinerja & Skala Produksi:
— Produksi kumulatif kendaraan oleh TMMIN selama beroperasi telah menyentuh lebih dari 4,7 juta unit.
— Produksi mesin kumulatif melampaui 2,7 juta unit.
— Ekspor kendaraan (mobil CBU, CKD, komponen) telah mencapai lebih dari 2,6 juta unit ke berbagai belahan dunia.

TMMIN aktif mendukung ekosistem industri otomotif lokal — melalui kolaborasi dengan pemasok lokal (tier-1 hingga tier-3), mendorong penggunaan komponen dalam negeri, serta transfer teknologi dan pengetahuan manufaktur.

🚨 Toyota Internship Program

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) is inviting fresh graduates / active students to join our internship program. Interns will be placed in Sunter or Karawang for a minimum of 6 months and start from August 2026.


1. Project Planning & Quality Improvement Intern

Qualifications:

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Diploma (D3) in Informatics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00)
  • Strong skills in website development, data analytics, and basic AI implementation
  • Familiar with programming, database handling, and web-based systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data processing and analysis); knowledge of AI or analytics tools is a plus
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in website development, AI/data analytics projects, or system-related coursework/projects is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

 

2. Fitting & Appearance Quality Engineering Intern
Qualifications:

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00)
  • Able to read and understand 2D & 3D engineering drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and presentation purposes
  • Strong communication skills with good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, automotive, fitting & appearance inspection, or engineering-related projects is preferred
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

 

3. Part & Vehicle Quality Engineering Intern
Qualifications:

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00)
  • Able to read and understand 2D & 3D engineering drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and administrative support
  • Strong communication skills with good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or engineering-related projects is preferred
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

 

4. Quality Audit & Digital Transformation Intern
Qualifications:

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Diploma (D3) in Management Informatics, Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00)
  • Strong skills in data processing, data analysis, and digital system support
  • Proficient in Power BI and Power Apps for dashboard development and business process digitalization
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data processing, and reporting)
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in data analytics, dashboard development, digital transformation, or system-related projects is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills

5. Material Assurance & Quality Improvement Intern
Qualifications:

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00)
  • Strong understanding of material assurance, quality improvement, or manufacturing processes
  • Possess basic IT skills and familiarity with data processing or digital tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data handling, analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in quality assurance, production, battery/electronic parts, or engineering-related projects is preferred

6. Cost Planning & Inventory Management Intern
Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in data processing, data analytics, and presentation
  • Familiar with business process flow and process improvement concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data processing, and data analysis) and presentation tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in inventory, asset management, business process, or data-related projects is preferred

7. Capital Expenditure & Asset Digitalization Intern
Qualifications:

  • Final-year student or fresh graduate with a Diploma (D3) in Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00)
  • Strong skills in data processing, reporting, and administrative analysis
  • Preferably familiar with system development, IT systems, or digitalization projects
  • Basic understanding of databases, system flow, or digital tools is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data processing, and reporting)
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in data handling, asset management, accounting processes, IT support, or system-related projects is preferred

8. Finance Digital Transformation Intern
Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in data processing, data analytics, and system analysis
  • Familiar with AI concepts/tools and Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or automation tools is a plus
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong skills in data analytics, technical analysis, and problem-solving
  • Familiar with digital transformation (DX), AI concepts/tools, and data-driven improvement initiatives
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in technical projects, standardization, safety analysis, or organizational activities is preferred

  • Strong understanding of new business development, sales & marketing analysis, and business strategy
  • Familiar with data analytics and design thinking methods to support business growth and innovation initiatives
  • Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, and a positive working attitude
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in business development, market research, organizational activities, or case competitions is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong ability in data handling, reporting, and business analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and presentation tools; knowledge of business/data visualization tools is a plus
